In January 2026, I was awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award in Azure Virtual Desktop. This recognition reflects sustained community contribution across real-world Azure Virtual Desktop architecture, licensing guidance, operational best practice, and knowledge sharing through 9to5Azure.
Best Blogger - 2025 - UK Microsoft Community Awards 🏆
In October 2025, I was recognised at the UK Microsoft Community Awards, where I received the Best Blogger award for my contributions to the Microsoft community through technical insight, knowledge sharing and thought leadership.
Why a blog, and why now?
Good question, I started posting more on LinkedIn around the updates that were coming out of the Microsoft space; and would like to formalise this into a blog.
Using a blog will allow me to share real-world scenarios, alongside the discussion of news, releases and updates from Microsoft and the MSP channel.
As IT professionals, we use Google a lot, right? If you say no, you're lying! Using a blog will extend my reach, allow me to make new connections but most importantly provide valuable content to potentially help people!
